Ing. Karl M. Slavik
is the company founder.
After an apprenticeship and professional experience as a sound and video technician, IT and event technician, he completed an HTL degree in communications engineering and electronics (graduated in 1990). After working as a sales engineer at Siemens Ton- und Studiotechnik and as a teacher at the vocational school for electrical engineering and event technology, he worked as a sound engineer and project manager at ORF from 1999 to 2005. His responsibilities there included the planning of control rooms, new workflows and the introduction of 5.1 surround sound. He has been an Approved Dolby Broadcast Consultant since 2006. Karl M. Slavik is a trained professional educator. He teaches at the ARD.ZDF.medienakademie in Nuremberg, at THUES Vienna and at the University of Vienna. He is co-author of “Handbuch der Tonstudiotechnik” (Dickreiter) and “Handbuch der Audiotechnik” (Weinzierl) as well as around 200 specialist articles.

Ing. Adrian C. Slavik
has been working in the field of audio, video and network technology since 2011. After completing an apprenticeship as an event technician (graduating with honors in 2015), graduating from high school and completing his HTL studies (college, 2020), he is currently working as an AV IT systems engineer at ARTECAST. His professional focus includes the planning, installation and operation of professional audio and video systems as well as IT and network technology for production and transmission systems. Adrian is a certified system admin and has extensive experience with audio and video-over-IP (e.g. Dante, NDI, AES67). Due to his extensive AV and IT knowledge, he also works as a trainer, for example at THUES and at the ARD.ZDF.medienakademie.
